Dzenita Kicic is a seasoned expert in financial inclusion and housing finance, with over 15 years of experience in advisory, consulting, and technical assistance services who believes that “Ideas” do not change the world – Implementation does.
Currently serving as a contractor for the Global Financial Inclusion and Capital Markets division of Habitat for Humanity’s Terwilliger Center for Innovation in Shelter, she formulates and implements global advisory and technical assistance solutions, manages portfolio relationships, and supports the overall strategy and growth of the affordable housing portfolio. She has collaborated with over 50 financial intermediaries across Europe, Central Asia, and Africa, providing support on various topics including strategy, risk, operations, products, systems, processes, delivery channels, capacity building, and communication.
Additionally, Dzenita has accumulated over a decade of practical experience as a credit and operational manager in the microfinance sector in the Western Balkans, supporting financial institutions through the development and implementation of sophisticated products, policies, procedures, systems, and internal resources management. Dzenita holds a master’s degree in business administration and finance, complemented by a diploma in electrical engineering.
