Silke is the Head of Financial Inclusion and Social Entrepreneurship at the International Advisory Services of Frankfurt School. She has successfully implemented transformation projects worldwide over the last 30 years. Her assignments included as CEO the greenfielding and set-up of financial institutions, the transformation of NGOs into regulated deposit or non-deposit taking NBFIs, and the transformation of a deposit taking NBFI into a commercial bank. She has dealt in this field with different types of impact investors.

She has been working for Frankfurt School in several projects, including a merger and bank transformation feasibility study, MFI and bank transformation projects in Africa, Middle East, Western Balkans, South-East Asia and Central Asia and as Team Leader for the Social Finance Technical Assistance (SIFTA) in the EU managed by EIB.
