Pavol has over 20 years of experience in development finance / banking; relationship management; assessment of SMEs and finance institutions and their ESG impact; project coordination, capacity building and consultancy. Major part of his career he spent with socially responsible investor Oikocredit International.

He was responsible for the region of Eastern Europe and Central Asia (portfolio of approx. EUR 100 mil.), developing new markets and business relationships with financial intermediaries and SMEs. Within its current position Pavol identifies, encourages new and maintain existing partnerships, organizes, coordinates and carries out various initiatives, projects and capacity building services helping the MFC members, their staff and their clients to advance their knowledge and skills in the field of MSME finance, inclusive finance, investment readiness, supporting member MFIs in applying the European Code of Good Conduct for Microcredit Provision, ESG and impact assessment. Within Financial Inclusion for Green Inclusive Growth in Europe he is engaged with various Action Groups focus on strategy, digitalization, sector visibility. Within EIB funded SIFTA program he is involved in providing content support to the design of various technical assistance services including webinars, good practice exchange sessions and events aimed to strengthen overall institutional capacity of MFIs.
